Essie Collection

I'm on a nail polish binge.

The thing with nail polish is that you can't put it on everyday. Both a blessing and a curse. You can enjoy the color of your nails, if you really like the color... but if you're fickle... well, hope you have steady hands.

Sinful is a close runner up of colors I'm digging, but Essie, I think, will always be my favorite.

From the back, left to right like a book: Aruba Blue, Sew Psyched, Beach Bum Blu, Go Overboard, Trophy Wife, Mink Muffs, It's Genius, Buy Me A Cameo, Eternal Optimist, Mademoiselle, Smokin' Hot

I can't put my finger one it, but I feel like all the colors are unified by an undertone. Or at least the similar colors. They all play well together, and all of the hues are just gorgeous. My only complaint is that I wish Mademoiselle was more opaque, and in Go Overboard, the hues are separating.

Just thought I'd share!

Walgreens Haul, plus The State of My Face Address

So I casually strolled into Walgreens to pick up ONE $2 nail polish: Endless Blue by Sinful Colors.

This is what I came out with:
From the front, left to right: Endless Blue, Pride, Calypso, Gold Medal, Let's Meet, Happy Ending

When it gets around to fall, I'm going to try Calypso and Gold Medal together. For now I'm going to enjoy the green and the yellow. I originally bought a green that I never used and threw it out. I regretted it. But at least I replaced it for next to nothing! Compare to an Essie nail polish, although Essie is my favorite brand.

I also got a car charger adapter, and the Garnier Nourishing Cleansing Oil and the Garnier Blackhead Eliminating Scrub with charcoal.

I'm hoping these will turn out to be great... I already have a cleanser next in line for when my face wash runs out. I'm not sure if I'm just going to use them all at once, depending on how I feel, or if I'll use them one by one. I LOVE using up products. So satisfying.

Really hoping the microbeads in the scrub is charcoal and not plastic. I would assume charcoal would be less harmful than plastic.

My face has been super wonky lately. My nose will get flakey. I have pimples all over. I think my eczema is acting up around my nose. Picked up some hydrocortisone for that. Gotta start remembering to do my tea tree oil everyday again.

In other news, Kuma's Corner date today!

How is it mid-July already?

How time flies... And I've definitely been having fun.

Updatement on the life's:

DOTOMBORI - Clockwise, from the top: James Bond, Spicy Rainbow Roll, Mango Tango. So yum.

The 4th! Corn dogs, funnel cake, screaming like kids on rides, and Lloyd Dobler, the suicidal carny fish. Featuring a midnight Wal-Mart run for fish food.
Hoppin' Hots: Funky Duckling

Hoppin' Hots: my first foray into poutine.

All I have to say is, food is good. You should eat some.

I'd end on that note, but I must say I'm excited for a Kuma's Corner date Tuesday!
